We saw birds coming in spring and my daughter wanted to buy a bird house so I suggested building one. This is the one she chose. It's cheap so I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary and some of the reviews might be a bit harsh, but it's just a normal project for a kid. I had no trouble matching the holes to tighten the pieces, but they definitely don't match. It comes with an unmarked tube that looks like white Elmers glue (type) so we swapped it out. with real wood glue and a hot glue gun. Everything went smoothly and my 6 year old is happy that he really achieved something. I could price the pricing better, but at this point you could just build it from scratch. As long as you know what you're getting, this isn't a bad project for a kid.
