Thicker than water, but still fluid. Snow white color. Feels like soft silk on the skin. Extremely moisturizing. The smell is pleasant and not at all strong. Very weak. It takes about 45 seconds to dry after rubbing it in and after it dries it feels SO smooth. I have SUPER sensitive skin, I use it every other day. I'm allergic to 99.99% of products ever made and it hasn't harmed my skin at all. I'm buying a second one to use on the rest of my body. Makes your skin smoother and more radiant. I use it every *other day* because it causes breakouts if you apply too much. 100% recommend - ideal for anyone who has dry skin regularly (daily/every other day) or during winter. To be honest, I can't really say that it "firms" or "pups" my skin, but it works in a different way.
