Love, love, love!: kitchen utensils and gadgets

We had to buy a new electric stove. I didn't like how the timer worked. There was a plus and a minus sign that I had to press up and down to set the timer on the stove. The same plus and minus signs are used to set the temperature, so I felt like we were wearing those knobs out quickly. Also, I like to step away from the stove and go to another room to work, but the timer on the new stove wasn't very loud at all. I really like these new timers that I received. It was great to get two and I love the big buttons on them. One thing I might be concerned about is that when I have a timer set, the minute and second letters keep flashing, which can quickly drain the battery (requires one AAA battery). I like that you can see the time go by and it has big numbers. The biggest complaint I have is that the magnet isn't strong enough to hold my fridge... the timer wants to slide off. But the most interesting thing is that they thought of everything. There is a loop on the back for threading a wire or cord. You'll see in my picture that I used red wire, something like bread ribbon held by a magnet with a clip to keep it in place... not the prettiest, but it does the job and works. I would definitely order them again.
