We didn't like it. Excellent customer service!

We wanted to love this thing: a woman-owned American family business that makes Amodex in the United States with American ingredients. Wow, it's our patriotic duty to buy this thing! But I have to buck the trend of positive reviews. As a pharmacist and informed consumer, I expect a list of ingredients, a lot number for quality control, and (usually) an expiration date on the products I buy. Well, storage instructions: such as: store at a certain temperature. This is especially true for products like Amodex, which are labeled as safe for use directly on the skin! HONESTLY, the bottle says "contains lanolin" (good to know American sheep is used, LOL)! That being said, and as for the effectiveness of the product, success is uncomfortable and rare even after SEVEN uses according to the new stain guide. We've tried it on cotton, polyester/cotton, and polyester/spandex blends. Full disclosure again: All garments have been pre-washed in hypoallergenic detergent and air dried. Isn't that what most of us do: hope that the laundry will remove the stains? In any case, we are disappointed! Sorry to be a skeptic. As for customer service, I received TWO very nice emails from the President of Amodex asking how she can help with stain removal issues!

Pros
  • MULTIPLE USES: Non-toxic formula for use on clothing, carpets, upholstery, tablecloths, upholstery and other delicate surfaces and leather.
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
