Ten years later, one of the factory HID bulbs in my car started to "pink" and I'm pretty sure the other one wasn't providing 100% light output since the HID bulbs were mixed with the time weakened. Instead of going with the factory 4500K colored bulbs, I opted for something whiter that comes close to what modern LED headlights look like, but doesn't look blue. I chose them in the 6000K color palette. Lamps in modern vehicles are not easy to replace, and HID lamps are particularly difficult. This is of course not the fault of the lamp manufacturer, but of the car manufacturer. In addition, you need to be 100% sure that the circuit is disabled and cannot be automatically re-enabled. HIDs use an extra high voltage power supply that can be deadly. Despite these issues, these lamps fit just like the original factory fitment. They offer excellent light output and perfect color. My car is painted the color of the pavement, which makes it practically invisible to other drivers, so I set my headlights to stay on at all times while driving. So far these lamps are working well, but only time will tell if they will last ten years like factory lamps.
