Exactly what I wanted. But my husband spent about an hour putting it together for me. Normally I would have done it myself but I have a broken wrist but I doubt I could. He had to drill each hole to fit the screws. He said wood is harder than oak. There were defects in the wood, one edge of the leg was beveled, and on the other there was a bundle of fibers (it looks like a small crack). I have a black bench so you can't see it. It would be a problem with natural wood. All in all I love it. Reduced "star" due to assembly and wood milling issues.
