Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Mcbazel KX Keyboard & Mouse Converter: Enhance Your Gaming Experience on N-Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PS3! by Patrick Matin

Works on the Switch, but works best with a mouse with internal/onboard memory.

This is a long and detailed review of the switch tests only; but I think other consoles might get the same results. This works on the switch if you set it up correctly according to the instructions (which is not difficult at all). Basically, this device fools the Switch into thinking you've connected a wired gamepad, where the keyboard replaces some buttons and the mouse replaces other buttons (none of which can be programmed that way, but read on about using a mouse). However, to get the most functionality out of your mouse, I would recommend a mouse with internal/onboard memory and a computer so you can first set up the buttons on the mouse using the software for that mouse on the computer to match the buttons on the gamepad that you like, and then use them on the switch. To do this, you need to look at the user manual and see which keyboard keys emulate which gamepad keys, and then map them to the mouse. For example, if you want the back button on a mouse to be the Y button, you can set it up on a computer and the mouse will retain that setting when used with a switch. If you don't do this and use everything as is, the mouse is limited to right, left and middle click (scroll wheel) as the back and forward buttons do nothing, and you can of course still use the scroll wheel to aim/ look around. Mouse. However, all other gamepad keys are emulated on the keyboard; but it requires a lot of you to use your hand without a mouse. Think of it this way: on a gamepad, the buttons are split between the left and right hand, while this default setting places more buttons on one hand than the other. I didn't notice any lag when testing Spellbreak in practice mode or Doom in arcade mode. Using a mouse is definitely more accurate than using a gamepad, even with motion support. There is a trade-off though, as learning to use the keyboard requires a different/greater muscle memory, but this is mitigated with a programmable mouse. The keyboard worked with an old rubber wire USB cable I bought a long time ago; but that's the only wired USB keyboard I have to test with at the moment. Therefore, at the time of writing this review, I cannot recommend the keyboard, only confirm that it works depending on the keyboard. I'm waiting for a newer wired gaming keyboard that I ordered which another reviewer said works with this unit so I can use a more comfortable keyboard as the chiclet keyboard has weird keys. I have provided Revain with links to the mice I tried and the keyboard I ordered. Works with any of these three mice (yes, I've tried each).
