Haven't used them yet but they arrived in perfect condition and these are the samples I ordered and seem versatile for crafts and small home decor projects. This pack offers a good selection of geometric patterns for little money. So far, I am very satisfied. If you're new to the stencil game, here are some tips that can save you time and trouble. If you have long hair, style it. Swap out baggy, long-sleeved clothing for clothing that is unlikely to make it through the stencil project. Get pets, babies and accidents out of your workplace. Then carefully clean and prepare and decide where you want to start the pattern. Then fix the stencil with adhesive tape and, if necessary, stencil adhesive. Pour a few tablespoons of chalk paint or whatever product you use into the bowl that you covered with aluminum foil (to make it easier to clean up later). Cover the paint pot with a lid to keep the remaining paint from drying out. dirt inside. If you do everything right, you may not need to open it again. Squeeze a small amount of product onto a clean sponge lightly dampened with water from a handy spray bottle. Then treat the sponge by dabbing the empty part of the paint tray several times. With screen printing you want to use the ink as if it were worth more than gold per ounce, or in other words you want to put almost no ink on the sponge and even less on the stencil. When the underside of the sponge is painted and there is nothing left of the sponge under the stencil, gently pat the almost dry sponge over the stencil in up and down motions, never rubbing side to side like you would. Move the parts in the middle of the stencil and ruin the drawing. When the entire area of the stencil is thinly painted, carefully remove the stencil, hose down in the garden and dry with a clean rag. If there are bumps or blurring in the pattern, now is the time to fix those issues with a damp cotton swab or something similar. Wait for the paint you just applied to be completely dry before trying to continue with the drawing, since you will have to level it and never risk smearing it. If you want to cover a larger area, use stencils larger than this to make life easier. Consider getting a duplicate template and asking a capable friend to work on the other side of the first template you laid. A blow dryer or two can help speed up drying time, but be sure to use heat rather than wind, as this can push out wet paint. When everything is stenciled and dry I go back before sealing it with a tiny detailed brush to darken any areas that need it and make the lines clearer and add effects like shadows, highlights, gold etc . d Hope this helped!
