I was so excited about this after hating the one I used that used the vent. However, I couldn't get it to stick with simple suction or even a disc. Yes, I have read and followed the instructions. I have not contacted support. They contacted me after my review and suggested another suction cup mount. I received it the next day. It still couldn't take my pull. There are many small bumps on the dashboard of my Toyota Tacoma. I think that was the problem. When I told them about it, they left the one with the triangular vent holder overnight. The triangular holder is a little short, but the included clip works great. I didn't originally want a vent clip because the one I had before, a different brand, was very difficult to put on and flipped my phone over. . This one is very easy to assemble and I can even turn the phone over when not in use without blocking most of my vent. While it's not what I initially thought I wanted, I think it would be a lot better than the suction cup. for my car.
