March 2018 - 2 stars: Electricity meter broken after only 5 months of operation! All kW values differ by more than 60% (above), the instrument simply generates random house numbers - not usable. Revain makes an exceptional refund offer minus a $30 restocking fee (restocking a defective device?). We have contacted Efergy but have not received a response within 48 hours, the US (Florida) phone number is just always unavailable and you go to voicemail. Will update as soon as we hear from them about the two year limited warranty and how honest they are. So far we are very disappointed with their customer service regarding product quality. Remember: this device is made in China, which is another unknown name for China, and that would tell us a lot! ********************* *** October 2017: 4 stars - Fairly reliable and correct energy meter. Use it in my woodworking workshop. The tariff calculation ($) is not suitable for the USA, but the kWh readings and the daily, monthly or weekly history are very useful to quickly calculate your next electricity bill for yourself.
