I am 5ft 6in and weigh 175lbs. I ordered XL. It fits perfectly. The dress is made of a material similar to a t-shirt, but thicker. This is not a loose dress. It looks more like an A-line dress and is not fitted. The dress is dark blue and the leaves are blue-green rather than turquoise. I love it
