Review on 🌹 Dove Antiperspirant Deodorant Stick: 48-Hour Protection for Soft and Comfortable Underarms - Rose Petals, 4-Count, 2.6oz by Daniel Murr

I love the scent of roses so I was immediately disappointed when I first opened it to smell it. This deodorant antiperspirant stick doesn't smell like roses at all to me. While the smell isn't unbearable, it's definitely not my favorite. I haven't worn it long as I have a sensitive sense of smell and it has a subtle but noticeable "secret" deodorant shade that I don't like at all. In the time I've worn it, I've found that it glides on well and feels soft and smooth against my skin without being irritating. Not sure if wearing it for 24-48 hours would matter. The deodorant base is very easy to adjust by simply twisting the base one turn at a time until the desired number of sticks appear. of the fragrance itself, and not taken out of thin air or simply because it sounds nice. The scent actually has an artificial scent and is difficult to describe/link to something commonly known. Something like deodorant for shoes or feet, but not as strong. I had trouble appreciating it. But I find the name of the fragrance so misleading that that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. As long as I could stand it on me before the shower, it was soft, non-irritating and glided smoothly on the skin. I normally like quite a lot of Dove products but it seems like the scent...the names and the scent combo are too out of place for some products like this. If it had been called something more ambiguous (e.g. fragrance), perhaps something along the lines of "curiosity and boredom at the fragrance counter" or "tested effort", I wouldn't have been so disappointed.
