Broke on second use.

Pros: The cable is good as it doesn't tangle or twist and the spring compression absorbs some of the initial shock. The construction seems solid and the length of the peg seems to be sufficient even for a large dog. Not very good: I was hoping this would be a good alternative to being outside with my dog all the time. We have a 9 month old Labradoodle weighing 60 pounds. Given how excited she is to see everyone, she's pulled that cord to the extreme. She ran about halfway down the cable, and when she reached the end, she pulled the end of the cable out of the terminal closest to the terminal and ran to her neighbor. Inspection of the gap showed that the compression process was minimal. I went to Home Depot and bought some 1/8" cable ties and attached two to each end. So far this has worked.
