It will not have a "bend ".

This spatula is strong, well built and feels good in the hand. Impressed with the build quality. The sharp edge is handy for unrolling or slicing meat off the grill to check doneness. I'm not sure I'll use the bottle opener feature, but some might. Don't like the idea of opening a beer bottle with a spatula? Prize. Stainless steel is easy to clean. I haven't used it on a paddle-killing hamburger press, but it doesn't seem to "flex" under pressure. Good length for a BBQ.
