My wife needed to reach a very high ceiling fan so she ordered this rag with a 9 foot reach. When assembled, the handle is only 38 inches long - just over 3 feet, or about 1/3 of the listed length. (It's just a handle; it doesn't include a duster attachment, which is maybe another 10 inches long. It's only 4 feet, though; less than half the advertised "9 feet.") The duster itself is "fine." ." There was black dust on the ceiling fan and it probably hasn't been cleaned in years (we just moved into an apartment with this ceiling fan). on the fan blades and can't dust the fan very effectively . For these fan blades there will probably be a Brush head with real bristles required.
