Review on πŸ§₯ Stylishly Silent: Women's Real Suede Moto Jacket - SILENT NEW YORK by Turbo Jiles

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Comfortable and warm jacket, block cut, oversized zippers

The Suede Biker Jacket for women from Silent New York is a comfortable and fun jacket for cool days. Suede jacket soft, smooth, uniform color. All zips work smoothly and the jacket can be buttoned up to about chest height (due to the design). The jacket has three functional pockets, all on the outside of the jacket, and a non-functional zip for style. Two pockets close with a zip, while a smaller third pocket closes with buttons and is only big enough to slip change - not big enough for a cellphone. The jacket is very stylized and has large cuffs with zippers, buttons and buttonholes on the shoulders, and the collar closes with buttons. In terms of fit, this jacket has a looser fit and is slightly blocky. I don't mind the looks, but I didn't care that the sleeves were noticeably longer than the body of the jacket. The torso of the jacket ended right at my thighs, and the sleeves covered everything down to my fingertips. It's not bad style, I just wouldn't bother to get it. Another thing I didn't like about the jacket was the huge zippers. Those buttonholes are ridiculously large β€” almost 1.5 inches long and 0.5 inches wide β€” and the ones on the sleeves hang below your fingertips. The front of the jacket doesn't bother me, but I wish there were slim zippers on the sleeves. In terms of warmth, this jacket will keep you warm on a chilly day, but should not be worn in winter unless you live in California. All in all, not a bad jacket if you like the style and don't mind big zips. I'll wear this occasionally for fun, but it won't be my main jacket that I'll be wearing every day during the chilly fall months.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • A nuisance
