They will still get very hot - be careful!
We have a gas range and he bought me a cookware with a metal handle (thank god - he didn't know) so I got that. The handle lids work very well, but the pot handles still seem to get very hot, right over boiling water. Make sure you have an oven mitt nearby. But not over an open fire - he learned that lesson too lol
