Review on πŸŽ™οΈ Enhanced Mic Stand with Shock Mount Holder & Screw Adapter - Perfect for Blue Yeti, Snowball & Other Microphones by Andrew Hare

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great microphone hand!

This is the second mic arm I have received from Revain. The first had plastic, yes plastic levers for the tension springs. The no! They are solid metal from side to side. It even has an extra unit on the horizontal arm that you can use to push out the pickup spring screw if your setup is too heavy for it. It is all metal construction except for the knobs for tightening the axle points. I have to say that this boom arm is worth it. The bracket for your desk/desk is wide enough. I have a think table from Ikea and it fits perfectly. The arrow also doesn't bounce when moving. I did not use the supplied microphone holder as my Marantz MPM-2000U had its own. I also didn't need an extra threaded screw to attach that other mic mount. The only thing really missing is a clamp or something to hold the mic cable to your temples. I used some of that velcro tape I bought at the hardware store that was meant for attaching Christmas lights to things. Works well enough as I can move the mic cable around as needed.

Pros
  • ZINC ALLOY CONSTRUCTION - The compact microphone stand is designed for heavy carrying, the adjustable scissor stand is made of high-quality steel frame and electrostatic powder spraying technology, strong, rust-resistant and durable. Load: more than 70.67 oz / 2 kg. The arms are lightweight, fully flexible and easy to carry, attach the mic tightly anywhere.
Cons
  • No instructions
