But, nevertheless, I believe that in this case, Zoom fell below the lowest level. I'll start with the body. Low quality plastic, the device creaks in the hand like an old prosthesis. When shaken, it rattles like a baby rattle. The case has many sharp edges, tactile sensations are unpleasant. The feeling that you are holding a cheap children's toy from China in your hands. And meanwhile, the device costs 8000! It's like an entry-level smartphone! Imagine a high-tech device with an LCD screen, GPS-Glonas, GSM, Bluetooth, WiFi modules, a huge memory, a high-capacity lithium battery, neatly made and this misunderstanding, which only knows how to record sound badly, cost the same! And even at this price, Zoom squeezed the case and windscreen! The noise of the device when recording sound is unacceptably high, this is probably the main complaint. Such a device cannot be attributed to professional equipment. Why such a poor decoupling of microphones and the body? You can’t hold the device in your hands while recording, and even more so, you can’t press any buttons! Any movement turns into a crash and clipping on the record. There is no justification for using AAA batteries. The operating time in comparison with AA elements is reduced by a factor of three, and the dimensions and weight are insignificant. The device turns on for a long time. From the moment you turn it on until you are ready to record, it takes about 7 seconds. This is unacceptably much, we live in the 21st century after all. I quickly wind up the old gramophone with a pen and turn on my favorite record with Lidia Ruslanova on it. The advantages include ease of management, the presence of the basic necessary functions for the recorder. The presence of 24-bit formats that increase the dynamic range. Although, with such a noisy amplifier, this is not important. Small weight and dimensions. Outcome. The red price for this device is 3000. I do not recommend.
