This was my first time trying these curlers and I wasn't happy with the process or the end result. I watched a lot of YouTube videos to make sure I did it right before using them for the first time. It was impossible! The hook is cheap plastic, like a dollar toy, and has tangled in my hair too many times to count. The size of the area I ruffled didn't matter. The curler itself was fine. If you have thick hair, you will need at least 5 more curlers for this set. I let the curlers (and the bun I was supposed to put on them for the rest of the hair) dry for 12 hours (including overnight). It wasn't cute! I ended up pulling my hair back into a ponytail after playing with this product for over 2 hours. Not cool.
