Yes, this is a bike with fat tires and disc brakes. I have a 26 inch Costco NorthRock tire. Firstly it was my fault for ordering a different trunk and this one is fat tire specific. It is generally wider and can be adjusted up or down in height. Which mine should rise. My other issue was that this bike didn't have silver strap attachment points. If you look at the photo I was able to make my own using 1-1/4" painted tubing tape, a 1/4" diameter screw and some spacer. In fact, this turned out to be a more reliable and better mount. I'm sure Topeak won't give advice, but he's stronger than himself. They give bolts. I look forward to going to camp and buying something to put in!
