UPDATE: Not as small or mobile as you think

UPDATE: Well I've had them for a year now (also have 18's and 12's) and I have to say I'd like to know the size of the power supply and the circuit block known as the big brick so I would don't buy them. Note, if you don't want to use them for their portability, just for the flexibility and in the studio, then go for it! amazing performance and the best Litemats alternative for the price. Damn, not for the price, but in general. BUT! I had them cut down on my aircraft and finally they are less portable and terrible for field work when traveling due to the unwieldy size of the power pack(s), yes it takes two! PLEASE think of an alternative power supply that has no function other than on and off and needs to use the remote control to dim which would be great. Make it an option, I'll buy it lol. Also, I'm selling them :( Bright, very flexible, they can be placed anywhere, and installation or placement in small places is amazing for the price. BUT! The size of the power supply and what you need to run it is more than all other product of its kind the extension cord is a must have and unlike profoto in a good price range i almost gave it 4 stars because the extension cord is good quality, works great and is very cheap but this huge brick! a manageable amount, and then you have a winner.

Pros
  • Softbox and Softgrid can be used according to your needs.
Cons
  • Zero
