Review on Gear Aid Tenacious Tape Mini Patches: Repair Down Jackets, Sleeping Bags, Tents, and Rain Gear with Ultra-Strong Adhesive Tape by Jill Foster

I was excited to purchase this heavy duty tape hoping to mend a small tear on my north side down jacket so I ordered a black/clear combination kit to use for my light grey jacket could use. I trimmed the transparent part and it was almost impossible to remove the backing from it. I went through all three transparent patches and finally got a usable fragment. I taped it to my jacket and it looks like a piece of clear tape on your jacket which was quite fine with me, but the next day when I grabbed my jacket all the edges of the tape were curled up and no longer sticking, me was very disappointed. I rarely write a negative review as I usually get good quality Revain products but this was the most disappointing product and I am sorry but this option to repair a rip in my down jacket was NOT.
