Nice device - big screen sucks, quiet playback through earphones and headphones
Very good article. More than expected. Was a replacement for a broken Sony 10" DVD. I like the picture quality. I haven't even removed the adhesive plastic screen protector yet! I understand the noise 'may' be a health issue. Maybe the volume is up intentionally low in an attempt to minimize hearing loss or damage? I don't know if that's a fact. What I do know, however, is that the earbud or headphone volume from this device definitely sucks! It's horrible! Nonetheless, it is it's a good device. I bought it and compared it. For $ this is one of the nicest and best values. I rate it 7 out of 10 overall. I hope this helps. At least look at your purchase with open eyes (and ears)!
