This is a great little card. Yes, the new xd card used in Fuji cameras is much smaller, but how much do you need? With this card you can only take one card with you on holiday, although I still recommend an extra card for emergencies. I've been using this for a month now. I have 111 photos and three short videos and there is still room. I've printed my photos up to 8x10 and they look great, as do my 35mm enlargements. While the video is fairly smooth when viewed on my TV, it's not as good as 8mm video, but better than my previous camera. And this card is much smaller than 3 rolls of film and an 8mm videocassette. I'll admit the initial cost is high, but remember you can use the card over and over again - just download it to your computer or hard drive and delete the images from the card and you're good to go start in front. Another advantage is the possibility of instant deletion (relevant for all digital cards and cameras) and thus save your "film" for an important photo.
