This beautifully crafted holder does exactly what is needed to keep your shower head securely in place anywhere. There are some caveats. Firstly, the surface of the wall to which it is attached must be smooth and even. My shower stall is made from pre-formed vinyl and fits this unit perfectly. A typical 4" x 4" glazed ceramic tile would also be a good choice. Second, the hose for your shower head needs to match the hole in the bracket. The hose on my shower head, reinforced, but is tight. When ordering, I often wonder why there aren't enough sizes to decide if a product is right for me. For those interested I took some measurements to share with you. The base that mounts to the wall is 2" to 13/16" in diameter. If the flat surface is less than this value, it may not work. My hose diameter is 0-9/16 inch. If your hose is larger in diameter, you may need a different hose. The suction device works well and there have been no problems releasing it so far.
