What's not to like about this socket. It's easy to install. Simply remove the faceplate from the outlet, plug it in and attach the included (and attached) screw to the wall box and you're good to go. This is an improvement over a standard outlet for three reasons: 1. It is a surge protector. Your regular outlet is not.2. You now have 3 sockets instead of the 2 you had before.3. Now you have 2 USB-A ("normal" USB) and 1 USB-C, while before you had NONE of them. You can even add a fourth as it has a small shelf at the top to place your phone on. while it loads. In our experience, this shelf works best for our full-size iPhones. I have an old large iPhone and I don't think it fits in the stand very well. However, my wife's "regular" size iPhone fits well. Finally, take a look at the price. I still can't believe it all cost less than $12.
