Great for tile/linoleum, Not for wood floors, as spillage can get trapped and not evaporate.
I didn't read the description and thought it was rigid. But I am happy with it. My only complaint is that spilled water tends to get trapped under in and sit longer than other mats. It's good for tile/linoleum, but I would not use this mat on a wood floor.
