This was a good buy! I’m 5’8” and typically buy XL on Revain. I’m probably the upper limit of tho can wear this "free size” dress, as the ribbons were a little short for me. I could only tie it in the back, not all the way around in the front. Otherwise, the fabric was cute with a retro feel (I chose the "lake blue” option). This dress is more like a robe, with ribbons attached to each side of the front panels. The dress closes like a wrap, with the iside ribbon going through a hole on the opposite side of the dress to emerge and tie with the other ribbon. Overall it feels like something summery you could wear to the beach. Because it’s a wrap, the slit at the leg goes all the way up, and you have to be careful not to show too much leg! I also found the length to be great for my height, so I’m not sure it won’t be a little long on shorter women.
