Very durable. Nice. Good quality. The only thing I can say in general terms is that the lid uses air as a safety feature. Tell your kids not to close it too quickly and don't sit on it before it closes, it only takes a few seconds. Using force can damage the mechanism. That's logic. My only issue with this product is that the title says espresso. It's more of a reddish brown. Deceptive. If you read the description below, espresso is not in the list of possible colors. I'm still glad I bought this. Most importantly - large capacity, versatility and quality that lasts. I don't mind putting some stain on it. worth me
