Pretty but not compelling

The clay is not clean so much of the cookie dough is very coarse and grainy on the bottom. Therefore, there are areas at the rim where this texture can be felt through the thinner parts of the glaze, although this texture is imperceptible when drinking. My biggest complaint is that the finished product doesn't fully match the sample image design. . The glaze was very thick so it spreads out as it fired and the accent line looks more like a drip. Not the prettiest piece of pottery I own, but it's a nice chawan.
