This Bowl's a Keeper

I love this bowl! I've had it for 8 years now and it's still going strong. I use it at least a couple of times a week. I hand wash and also put in the top shelf dishwasher. Pros: Slim but beautiful design. some tables. In this case I use a napkin or dish stand. Conclusion: This bowl is a worthwhile investment that will last for many years.

Pros
  • JAPANESE ORIGINS: Designed with tradition in mind, our tools enhance your gaming experience by delivering accurate proportions every time.
Cons

Pretty but not compelling

The clay is not clean so much of the cookie dough is very coarse and grainy on the bottom. Therefore, there are areas at the rim where this texture can be felt through the thinner parts of the glaze, although this texture is imperceptible when drinking. My biggest complaint is that the finished product doesn't fully match the sample image design. . The glaze was very thick so it spreads out as it fired and the accent line looks more like a drip. Not the prettiest piece of pottery I own, but…

Pros
  • ARTIST TOOLS: Pair with our Chazen Whisk and Chachaku Spoon to indulge yourself, friends and others in the art of matcha-making as practiced for centuries.
Cons
  • All Fine

This is a beautiful bowl. The ground is rough and not.

Beautiful bowl. The bottom is rough and has no glaze. I think it adds more character. Below is a spiral pattern. As another reviewer mentioned, her decorative Swoosh looks more like a blob. Mine looks like a "stain" too. Having said that, it is definitely a handmade bowl and the differences in each bowl should be taken into account. It's the imperfections that make each one special. It has enough space for beating matcha and you will have a wonderful tea tasting experience.

Pros
  • THE PATH OF THE MATCH: We celebrate health and the simple beauty of life through our centuries-old tradition of growing fine teas.
Cons
  • Will be added later

Beautifully handcrafted item

The bowl arrived quickly but was safely packed in a nice box. The icing on the cake is a highly reflective black with a subtle cloud character accent. Today I dried the bowl upside down and noticed a shell-like design on the bottom which could indicate who made the item or it could just be a nice ornament. This is really amazing quality for the price, my bowl is just as perfect as the one in the picture. If you zoom in you can really see the quality of the icing, the blue cream accent is…

Pros
  • HISTORICAL RITUAL: The ceremonial bowl is a traditional item ideal for recreating tea ceremonies at home.
Cons
  • The list will be long.
