Awesome No: External SSDs

Detailed, and when I say so, it's because in the product page ads here on Amazon, the manufacturer shows a read/write performance that is not shown in reality. They claim to have a write speed of 900MB, which is not true. That's the main reason why I don't give 5 stars. I currently have USB-C 3.2 onboard on my x570 motherboard with a Ryzen 7 3800x processor and two high-speed M.2 SSDs. Disk Gen 4. The maximum write speed was 550 MB/s. nothing more. from my ssd m.2. Disc. And if you're copying from a mechanical drive, throughput is obviously affected by the mechanical drive, up to 123MB/s.

Pros
  • Blazing Fast USB-C 10Gbps - Compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4, USB-C, and USB-A
