Review on 🐟 Aqua-Flo Pond & Aquarium Filter Media: 10 Feet Long x 1" Thick (Pink/White) - Optimal Filtration Solution by Bryan Kishore

I like this filter media so far because I've hosed it down before and it's held up great! The pink side seems to keep dirt and particles from getting back into my pond - really keeps them out. This is a large roll, it will last a long time, especially since it has withstood washing from a hose well. As soon as it gets too nasty, I just cut off another piece. I use it with a thicker blue filter that seems to capture larger particles fairly well. I bought this for my pond hoping it would filter out fine particles and dirt. I'll go ahead and say this, I don't know much about taking care of my pond but I'm finally starting to learn! It turns into a green mess every summer and I've never had much luck with it other than draining and refilling to clear the water a bit and then waiting for winter. This year I was determined to get on top of the situation and keep it under control. I have turtles and fish in my pond, so I can't grow plants. Algae is a HUGE problem when the average daily temperature is 110+. With some of the best filter media and a few pond products I've ordered, not only is my pond free of algae, but the water is clear enough that I can see the pond bottom!
