Review on Predator Tungsten Steel Storage Travel by Luis Esquivel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost perfect for darts and gear

I was looking for thinner darts to get a tighter grouping but they were still a decent weight. These 23g tungsten darts came with aluminum rods installed, 2 additional sets of black plastic rods (6 total) and 2 sets of flights (also 6). There was also a dart tool, a decent case and 3 protective covers. It would have been nice if they included O-rings to keep the shafts from loosening over time, but they didn't. Overall these darts seem to work well and feel good, but the reason they don't get 5 stars from me is that the tips aren't perfectly centered. When rolled across the table with the bar removed, the tips appear to flex a little, each to a different degree. I tried to bend them as much as possible but I couldn't get them quite perfect. I'm not entirely sure how this affects their performance, but I expected more accuracy. (I've compared them to some decent English darts I have and they didn't have that problem). I considered sending them back but after realizing they weren't centered I've thrown them away a couple of times already and the black tips didn't have much paint to peel off easily. I ended up sanding off the rest of the paint and they look a lot better. I think I'll stick with these arrows for now and maybe see if I can remove and replace the steel tips in the future.
