I needed to replace an old, slow CPU tower that was powering my desktop system. A family member asked me if I really need two computers. I came to the conclusion that the answer was a resounding "no," and instead of spending $600-$800 on a whole new setup, I bought a Toshiba Dynadock for less than $100 including shipping. Now my new, faster and more powerful Toshiba laptop is my only computer and I continue to use my existing monitor and separate wireless keyboard and mouse. Undocking is easy when I need to take my laptop with me from home or just from work. When undocked, my system works fine to allow remote connection via LAN. Dynadock is a great device that has greatly improved my system's performance at a very reasonable price. Very good solution for me!
