I looked at several other devices to find a device that would work with AirtV2 over-the-air recording. I have a SlingTV Blue plus an outdoor local antenna and wanted to be able to pick up local channels. I didn't want the large hard drive attached to my AirTV2 station, so I tried the recommended flash drives and kept getting compatibility errors. I took a risk by going with this thin drive and I'm glad because the price is right. Too much space is a good problem. Most of the time it hardly gets warm, but a few times I've noticed that it does get warm. Not hot enough to be a problem. No delays or delays, my recordings are impeccable. I know these drives have a limited number of writes. I will cross this bridge when I get there.
