I charged these speakers and turned on the light they are so cool. The speakers work very well and have multiple mounting methods. At first I wanted to hang them on the back wall of the deck, but then I discovered that the batten, I thought it was aluminum, is something magnetic, so I use the magnet that is at the bottom, as well as the deck batten and grid or just one Bar. on both sides. They are clear enough and the base is good. I like being able to take them home when I'm done. I was hoping that with the hanging corner brackets you could just use a magnetic base and attach it to the bracket, but that's not the case. You need to remove the magnet and screw the mounting bracket into the built in 1/4" hole. Beginning to connect them caused me a little problem and I ended up with 2 separate Bluetooth connections on my phone. I removed them and followed the instructions carefully as initially I must have missed a step and they connected correctly and were in stereo, they now automatically connect to my phone when I turn them on so I don't have to go to the settings panel to play music through them .I've had them for a couple of weeks now and haven't charged them yet and we eat dinner quite often and sit outside on the patio so the batteries seem to last a long time.Very happy with them
