This manual shredder does a good job of shredding paper. Of course, I have to cut regular 8.5" x 11" paper into four pieces, but the strips are very thin and perfect for sensitive information. (Actually, the strips are thinner than any of the four electric shredders I own.) It stiffens and gets stuck when I try to shred more than one sheet of paper at a time, so it's not the most efficient shredder. Still, it's a neat little machine that comes in handy for late-night hacking when I don't want to wake the neighbors.
