Review on 🐱 SmartyKat Super Scratcher Cat Scratching Pad by April Williams

I've been a fan of these scratch plates for a long time. I used to buy them from a major retailer until they stopped selling this product. I have always liked them because they have a dense composition, do not crack and do not wear out quickly. The scratch plates I received with this recent order are terrible! They're thin, I can see through them, and they're a bit narrower so they don't fit as snugly in the scraper compartment. The worst thing is that they tear very easily and my cat follows these pieces everywhere. She quickly went through 2 of them (both sides of course) and is now on the 3rd. Perhaps this is the manufacturer's "intent" to sell more. Each of the high-quality pads always came in a box with Smarty Kat paints, a photo and a hinged lid. Each of these cheap versions comes in a plain brown open box. If I order this product again and get the same cheap useless pads I will return them and look for something better.
