I know cats are finicky but my cats have absolutely loved every ruffled scratching post I have ever received. I put these on as a replacement in a spot where they had a scratch for years. They didn't even touch him. The gaps look bigger than other scrapers I've had. I'm not sure why, but for some reason they aren't interested at all. I'll probably throw the others away.

Everything is fine after opening. It is packaged with clear tape that sticks firmly to any surface it is placed on. I had to cut open a bag of catnip after it started ripping when I tried to pry it off the tape. The back brace is easy to assemble despite the poor instructions.
