Worth trying for kittens who are horizontal scratching posts
That's it. Corrugated cardboard cat scratching post. My cat doesn't like it but it might be his age (he's 20!). However, if you have a cat that likes horizontal scratching, it's worth a try before you buy an expensive one. If your cat likes to scratch vertically (like getting up and scratching the edge of your couch, etc.) you'll need something to hang or display. Different cats prefer different scratching posts.
