Monitor Viotek 1440p 144Hz

I ordered this monitor 3 days ago when it was in stock for $280 and received it at 4pm today (Prime not available). The monitor comes well packaged with a power cord, a DisplayPort cable, instructions and an attached monitor stand. At the time of review I have no dead pixels. Unfortunately, the monitor doesn't work at 144Hz because the DisplayPort cable doesn't support it (black screen). Disappointing. I have a 2k 144hz cable but won't have it for the next 2 days. I may stop by my local micro center to see the true power of this monitor as tomorrow is Friday. The default colors were absolutely GARBAGE lol but the menu is easy to navigate with a small bump on the back. Edit: I received the updated 2k 144hz cables today and was able to get the monitor up to 1440 @ 144hz with no issues. Looks great. My Geforce 1080GTX runs most AAA in High/Ultra mode at 100fps and the upgrade from 1080p to 1440p is tremendous.
