Great bread box but the smell is terrible. I had to return two.
I've been looking for a bread box that meets my requirements for a long time. I chose this one. It looked perfect. That's how it was, only it smelled like chemicals. I never complain about smells. I kept the first one for almost 2 weeks to see if the smell would go away. It is not so. I emailed the seller who told me the smell smelled like vegetable oil. I've been cooking for 40 years. It didn't smell like vegetable oil I've ever used. I ordered a replacement thinking maybe I just got a bad one. But my replacement smelled exactly the same. Too bad. Great design.
