Review on Hario Craft Coffee Clear Black by Michael Gupta

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good choice if you don't drink a full cup

I just need something that lets you make 2-3 cups at a time and this pour-over system is perfect. All you need is boiling water and a filter. I've been using a French Press for years, but decided to switch to a drench when I was looking for ways to lower my cholesterol. (Да. Серьезно. Употребление нефильтрованного кофе, такого как френч-пресс, по-видимому, повышает уровень холестерина обычно на 5-7 пунктов!) Вкус не такой смелый, как у френч-пресса, но я оценил, насколько мягкий вкус по сравнению with him. and it is nice that there is no more sediment at the bottom of the cup. Cleaning is also a lot easier, that's for sure. I think the only downside to a pourover is the need for filters. I've considered K-Cup machines, which definitely make a pretty good cup of coffee, but I'm not interested in adding more single-purpose electrical appliances, nor am I a fan of all that cup-related waste. . In addition, the overall costs - especially for the machine, but also for the cup itself - are significantly higher than with a dispensing system. specific times etc. I'm sure you're right. But honestly, I think even a clumsy pourover that doesn't follow all those complicated, rigid rituals still makes damn good coffee! I think the four most important things are water, coffee, the right grind, and finding the right coffee to water ratio for you. After that, it's almost like making tea: all you need is hot water and a few minutes and you've got a great cup of coffee!

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Almost never
