I'm quite short (120lbs/5'5") but I'm more suited to indoors because I like a comfortable and loose fit. I got the big one because I don't wanted them to be too tight or too short.When I saw them I actually thought they looked too small but they ended up being quite loose.The waistband flexes a lot but the elastic still feels very tight .They might even be a bit big because there is definitely too much material on the back so it's a bit past me.I could probably get by with medium but as I said I like it a little looser and don't mind the extra baggy ...I believe most people are their normal size.They have slits at the bottom on each side that go up a few inches like a lot of training shorts do.The material is actually a lot softer than I imagined..on Photos. It's thin and breathable and dries quickly too, so it's a really great set of shorts. The fabric seems a little flimsy so I follow the instructions and hang them up to dry. The pockets are great and actually big enough to be useful. I really like the pressure. The colors aren't as vibrant as the product images but it's not a huge difference, I just think it looks a bit darker in person. I think the design looks pretty nice though. I have birds and I think they look really unique because you don't see them every day. All in all, I'm really glad I found them!
