This is a rather small and inexpensive walkie-talkie, but it has a wide range of functions. There's a built-in rechargeable battery, but it also has a socket for standard batteries, a power cord connector (included), and a connector for 4.5V input from an AC adapter (not included). Thus there are four power supply options. The device plays AM/FM/SW with the built-in analog tuner or via BlueTooth, TF card or USB port. Again, there are many options. Tuning works smoothly, but you have to move the tuning knob fairly slowly to find the right station accurately. I had no problem getting all the local channels clear. There is a built-in telescopic antenna on the back of the radio. There's a blue LED strip that can be turned on separately to illuminate the edge of the bezel. Bass is somewhat desirable given the radio's small size and plastic body. Overall sound quality is clear, but has little reach beyond the upper-midrange. Talk radio works great, but with music you only get part of the picture. This is great as a beach radio or something to take with you when sitting on the lawn, or as a backdrop while you cook or clean the kitchen. Everything works flawlessly and the user interface is so clear that an older family member can use it immediately.
