Excellent quality but there is no way to attach the bottom plate.

faucet of excellent quality! I bought this faucet to replace a factory installed plastic Cheepo unit that had separate hot and cold water. I chose this model because it has an extra base plate that covers the two open holes needed for the old faucet. The installation was successful, only the bottom plate can rotate as there is no way to attach it through the two unused holes on each side. In my case, the space is so tight that I couldn't find a wrench on the lock nut to really tighten it properly. Therefore, the lock nut is usually hand-tightened. If there were two holes screwed through the bottom on each side of the baseplate, I would feel better about this setup. If you are not using a base plate for your setup, there is no problem here.
