Loved this product. Solid granite. Well done. I tried to grind some rice and as you can see in the photo it turned out very well. I bought it for 16.99 and it was the cheapest 2 cup solution available at the time of my purchase. I think I'm the first to comment on this. Buy without hesitation. There are other expensive mortars out there, but they are for grinding spices, and all the stones do the same thing. I am happy with my purchase. Get one before it's gone. Not sure if it will be available at the same price for long.
