I bought 2 of these shelves to elevate the TV when I got them I liked them easy to assemble the color really match my furniture so they look like they are part of the furniture. I've had them for almost 2 months now and I noticed that one of them sags a bit in the middle so I got my 24 inch straightedge and sure enough it sagged about 1/8 inch in the middle, the TV weighs about 9 pounds, I went to check the second one and it sagged less than 1/16 inch, I think the second TV weighs less than 8 pounds. They still look good, I like them, if you're using it for a TV or computer monitor, as long as it's less than 8lbs it should be fine.
